What the court decided

In the Northern District of Illinois case 1:25-cv-07283, the October 16, 2025 default judgment awarded a total of $800,000 for eight domains targeting Goldstone Financial Group and Anthony Pellegrino. The court found the defendant liable for anticybersquatting, trademark infringement, false advertising, defamation per se, false light and trade libel. It ordered those eight impersonating domains transferred and entered permanent relief tied to those plaintiffs.

This was a civil default, not a criminal conviction or a full adversarial trial. The judgment does not adjudicate the accuracy of pages about other people. It did not order transfer of FinanceScam.com itself.

The paid-removal allegation

The complaint alleged that the operation published harmful dossiers and offered a paid “Citizen Advocacy Program” concerning removal. That proposed model is a pleaded allegation; the actual judgment should be read for its precise findings and relief. Poulson’s independent investigation reproduced historical removal-program material.

The Reddy page and current limits

A dossier URL concerning Priven Reddy was identified in the source research. Reddy says he received multiple requests to pay to remove posts, which he declined; he did not identify FinanceScam.com as the sender, and no site-specific demand has been independently reviewed. Its present reachability and current operator cannot be inferred from the 2025 judgment. The registration lookup recorded a nameserver pair shared with IntelligenceLine.com on September 29, 2026; registration data does not by itself prove current control.
